Edgar Castellanos has a simple approach to his career, he finds joy in cooking for others.
Over the last 10 years he has built his experience working in several successful restaurants in the Portland area.
His goal is to build mouthwatering flavors combining high quality ingredients with simple preparations that allow those ingredients to shine.
He believes that without a great team no restaurant can be successful, and he is proud of the team he has built at Café MurrayHill and hopes that you will be too!

Starting as a server in a fast-paced breakfast restaurant in North Carolina at the age of 16, Joe was instantly hooked. Over the last sixteen years he developed that passion into his career.
Joe has been in his position at Café MurrayHill starting in August of 2017. By utilizing a warm hospitable approach paired with consistent high-quality food, he hopes to create lasting impressions and relationships throughout the Southwest Beaverton neighborhoods. His favorite thing about working with Café MurrayHill is serving his staff and the one on one relationships he builds with his guests.
Joe and his wife, Jasmine relocated from Savannah Georgia to the Beaverton area in 2013 and currently reside in the Reedville Neighborhood in Aloha Oregon along with their dog, Bonham. When he’s not working, he enjoys fishing, growing his own food in his garden, and dining out at local restaurants.
